Thorough 11+ preparation for Years 3-5
We run small-group courses for students in Years 3–5 preparing for the Slough Consortium and Buckinghamshire 11+ grammar school entrance tests, written by GL Assessment.
Each course is delivered in blocks. Verbal Reasoning and English is alternated with Non-Verbal Reasoning and Maths until the final block, when we teach all four subjects. Students can then apply all the techniques they’ve been taught, under timed conditions.
Our highly experienced tutors know the GL Assessment papers inside-out. Through interactive teaching, weekly homework and progress tests and feedback each block, they highlight areas of strength and areas for improvement, close gaps and build test confidence.
To enable our students’ parents know how they are performing, on an ongoing basis, we ask them to mark their homework, using the answers provided.
